Found a cute little cocktail bar while wandering around Soho today. Tbh, I’m impressed by any bar that serves cocktails named ‘Gloria Swanson’, ‘Tallulah Bankhead’, and ‘Mae West’.

I like how ‘normal’ London weather is just monochromatic grey sky and how everyone walks around in bowler hats. London weather isn’t bad, you get the occasional sunshine and it hardly rains, only frustrating drizzle. I wish people really walked around in bowler hats and umbrellas (and/or pimp canes).

Glove map of London, 1851, by George Shove. Printed map on leather.

Long before Googlemaps on an iPhone or handheld GPS devices, there was the very analog Victorian Glove Map.

I am totally in awe of this.
